Does anyone have any simple but effective methods for vanishing the bill for a Bill Tube effect? Everyone seems to suggest a gimmicked handkerchief, but this just doesn't sound convincing to me. How do YOU do it? I need some advice, because I've had the tube for almost a year, and never used it yet!
As a side note, the tube doesn't seem to be long enough. With Australian currency, the locking bar on the tube obstructs the note. It is possible to sidestep the problem by rolling the bill very small, but is there another way?

The usual way to secure the bill is to have the bill folded and rolled by the spectator. You give him instructions as he does the work. Then secure with a rubber band.
The only way I know is the normal way to use a hanky. This allows the spectator to hold the bill thru the hank until the last possible moment. I suggest you at least try it and you will see why it is a classic. |

This is true - I should try it, but I don't know that I have the sewing skills to prepare the gimmicked hanky!

I do a bill switch. Finger palm a prepare bill with a rubber around bill. Then have someone write down number on bill. Then wrap bill with the rubber band. Then do a Bobo switch with bill dropping it to the table or into hand. Bring out bill tube. Showing bill to the last minute. Then vanish bill by TT or your favorite method.
