There's been a recent, popular conversation over at Hacker News about an article from 2012 about Teller.
The article: http://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-cultu......l&no-ist The conversation: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=14211242 I thought the conversation among intelligent laypersons would be of interest to intelligent magicians. Best, Shaun Here is a 29-minute live performance of mine: https://youtu.be/lq2Rj1uf05M I used to be quite sensitive to criticism; I am much less so now; so, please do criticize my technique, presentation, and posts. It helps me to grow, and I promise to take responsibility and not to be defensive. |

Yes - always interesting to hear what Teller has to say.
I like how upfront he is regarding the neuroscientists being such beginners, in one sense, in the mechanics of human perception. It's a nice parallel to draw with magic and what magicians have been doing for an eon. Thanks for the post. Very best, Francis

Excellent article!! The Smithsonian is full of so many smart words!! I think, a zillion years ago, I read an article in the mag about old spy cameras.....I still think about that article today.
His face isn't really this long in-person!
