Charlotte Learns to Play Hangman

The performer tells an unsettling story about a little girl who becomes obsessed with playing Hangman, the spelling game. Her teacher dies by hanging after correcting her. Was Charlotte to blame? Does she really have an erie control over people?

A participant draws a completed Hangman game — as the little girl might have — with a different colour for each of the gallows, rope, figure and finally, “Miss Hill” the teacher’s name. The participant’s and Charlotte’s drawings match perfectly.
