I have a question for you Paul if you don't mind, is there a reason you prefer to use your own ring of borrowing a ring from the spectators ?

Borrowing a spectator's ring can be fraught with potential dangers as I've learned from experience. You loose nothing in the effect by using your own ring. Also, not shown on the video - I have other stuff that I perform with the ring after the routine and so it's best to use my own ring because of the familiarity of practicing with it. Hope that makes sense....

Thanks for your response Paul I did once start a thread asking peoples views on using their own ring rather than the spectators, although it didn't get many replies the majority were in favour of borrowing a spectator's ring.

Whilst I do use a borrowed ring for my routine I don't use reels for the very reason you gave I prefer to have full control of the ring at all times.
