Hello there!
Since the forum is always going a little slow I thought I might as well show some stuff. With bottoms I accented way too much, but I can't help myself when I see a camera 30cm from me. Any critique is always appreciated Seconds: https://youtu.be/fEUiwWwcoo8 Bottoms: https://youtu.be/IoLsn7-e34U Shift: https://youtu.be/F7vvZGw3gaA Best wishes for all of you. |

Do you deal cards that fast?? Maybe the pizza is starting to kick in, but to me there was something weird in the way you are dealing other than technique itself.

@Marco The only game I play often is Macau so I usually deal rather quickly when there's a lot of players, because the attitude of my friends is time not spent playing is time being wasted The weird thing you're reffering to is most likely the way I take the cards, I don't like pitching since nobody I know has ever seen it, so I just looked at the way people who handle cards once a month take cards and copied the best (for false deals) solution I saw.

Oh, okay, although seconds while dealing that amount of cards is not an optimal sleight in my opinion, I'd rather stack.
But I'm wandering off, if you asked comments about just the techniques: I'd say the seconds are about okay, the bottoms have a bit too much of a finger flash, for the delayed shifts I like just the first one, (provided you won't be moving object all the time), while the second looked a bit odd. It was the action of brushing things that I'd never liked. Anyway, getting advices from me is really weird, so, I'd wait for other people. For now, never stop practicing! |

I think the seconds mimic some of the ways I've seen laymen deal cards quite well. Although I think it was quite a flattering camera angle, I don't think they look bad at that pace.
I thought the rhythm of the bottoms was good. I understand Marco's point about the finger flash, but if the fingers move in the same way on the legitimate deal as they do on the false deal, is it still a flash? Thanks for the demo dapo |

@Marco @Th10111 Thanks I kind of had to decided between always flashing the fingers or flashing them only when I deal a bottom, so I went with always flashing once I saw a guy that dealt this way. As for the shift I usually do it with moving an object and never repeat it with the same people in the same day. As for the riffle stacking I do prefer it too, but I'm still practicing so when there's a lot of hands to stack I sometimes throw the second deal into the mix (i think I saw Richard Turner do it once or at least I thought he did it - couldn't tell exactly, when he's on fire his seconds are kinda tough to spot ).

For your seconds, it looks different when you take the first card than the rest. looks like your right fingers want to scissor your left hand.

@SimonCard Thanks, I didn't notice this one before. I also hit the bowtie a bit with my first card there. It still sometimes happens to me and I'm trying to get rid of such habits.

My option is your second is better than your bottom and the firest shift is better t Han the second.
