I like the "Think Of A Card" plot what was the reason for my decision to buy it. To be honest, I don't like it. Too many questions and "dancing around". Nothing new/improved here and imho Peter Turner material is far ahead. No offense, but was unfortunatley a waste of money for me.

I tend to perform a "Think of a card" using a physical deck first and then I'm able to repeat it (if the audience asks) without using the deck of cards. I aim to have both methods look nearly identical to each other and aim to do it as confidently as I did the first one. It's something that breeds credibility. Propless also gives you the option to perform over the phone, radio, Skype, etc. It's not that propless performers never use props, it's just another option in your toolbox. As far as Think goes; If you're just starting out with propless card guessing then perhaps the structure that Think sets out is a good place to begin. I do feel that the Outs could have been more subtle and less repetitive. I feel that if you buy Think you'll have to buy one of the other propless card guesses on the market in order to make it believable. Think is the less daring option. Again, the structure of the routine may be wanted by some performers, but it may also be disappointing to other performers. The ad copy is pretty legitimate. I can't see anyone performing this via text, however. Outs are needed too often and are too repetitive to be able to perform this via text outside of a really nice friend of yours. However, who in the world is going to try to reveal someone's playing card bit by bit via text anyway?! 1:18 P.M. Steve writes: Think of a card 1:21 P.M Dan responds Okay, I got one 1:22 P.M. Can this be done with thoughts other than playing cards?
Would be nice to see reviews from some who have actually purchased this. |

If you haven't already, check out 'Isolation', Michael Murray's treatise on the 'think of a card'.
