Since this is only a Blackpool release here is a link to a different effect, Outcome also by Martin so that you can see his type of thinking in the effects he produces.

How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Well lets hope it's better than that as that looked pretty crap imo Tarik 🙂

International Magic had Mix N Match back in stock when I was in the shop on Saturday evening. It's very clever; I saw a pre-release version and intend to write up a routine for it. Jerry Sadowitz called Outcome “The best new card trick in years" if that's of interest.

Hi Tarik - no doubt, but I believe he meant it. It’s a good effect.

It's a brilliant effect. So much fun to perform and lots of room for improv lines and humour. A real fooler too. Tarik, you're so moody these days!

Back to Mix & Match, the main gimmick is ingenious, it's a utility prop that can be used to come up with your own routines. You know EVERY TIME where the coin(s) are while they're concealed underneath completely opaque caps (no killer red caps here!). Combine this with The Green Neck System, as I have, and you have an absolute miracle in your wallet/pocket. Nobody will work it out, ever.
Overall M&M is the sort of thing I would expect Michael Weber to come up with - subtle methods combine to create a complete fooler. Martin MacMillan, looking forward to your next release. |

I haven’t seen mix and match Colin I’m sure it’s great . I was referring to the effect Outcome , having said that you are right I have been moody lately as I have not been well so I do apologise as that’s excuse so I promise to lighten up a bit . Best wishes to all Tarik 🙂

Sorry to bump up this old thread. I have these three brass caps that they look very similar to Mix & Match. Sadly I don't have anything more with it to be sure.
In the trick Mix & Match what is the exact size of the brass caps please in dia and thickness ? Click here to view attached image. |
