I would be curious to hear what everyone's favorite routines from these videos/DVDs are.

My favorite is Hanging Coins, by David Roth. Honestly, I like Ammar's version better than Roth's. No offense, Mr. Roth!
Also, Hornswoggled and Star Warp. I used these three routines during my IBM Ring initiation. |

Star Warp is great I use it all the time! I also like a few of the Matrix routines.

I'm big on Star Warp as well. I also use The $2 Tear and BeSwitched a lot. All get great reactions.

What is the plot of Star Warp? I only have volume 2.

It's Card Warp done with a playing card and a bill instead of two cards. The card is folded inside the bill back side out and as it is pushed through the bill it comes out on the other side folded face side out. Don't know if that makes sense, it's kinda hard to explain in words but very visual.

I really have to get down to practicing that one. I never really gave it my best shot.

Without a doubt I would have to say the "Incredible Coins Across" is just about my favorite of the series. I also like "Coins thru Silk" and also "Sonic Squeeze."

I've just ordered vol.1-3 and was wondering if those of you who own them have incorporated many of the routines into your act.
I like Ammars teaching but I have Intro. To Coin Magic and the tricks that he teaches in these are fairly lame. I know it's a vid. for learning handling and sleights but was curious if the Money Miracles is good material that you currently use. Thanks, Brian |

I only have vol. 2...VERY USABLE MATERIAL... I imediately started using the "Coin Flurry w/Jumbo Production". Beswitched and the 2dollar bill tear are great as well as other gems in there. I hope to eventually get the other volumes.

Considering that I only have volume 2. I'd have to say his shadow coins, even though I use a variation of Dean Dill's. I'd also like to see his matrix though.

Coins thru Silk. I perform that one regularly. Unless it's super duper windy.
I was not very impressed with the coin video that I got so I never even considered getting the others. After seeing his card videos, I was expecting more. Does everyone like these that much?

Ha!
Thanks vinny. You just saved me $60. By the way, that fabric is called "chiffon", I believe. You might be able to find it cheap off ebay when yours rips or whatever. I've found that if you twist the fabric too hard on the last coin penetration, it really messes up the fabric. I started using a different method (still twisting) that does not harm the fabric. Frank

FYI, Wal-Mart still carries the proper scarves for this effect. It'll cost you a whopping $2.50
When Michael first taught it he said "If you can't find it you're shopping in too nice of a store. It shouldn't cost you more than a dollar fifty." Ah yes, those were the good old days.
