I'm not sure if this is new or has been around for a while already: a gaff deck called the Split Pop Eyed Popper Deck that uses 52 sets of half cards:
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S25379 I'm guessing it's similar to a Mirage deck but with half cards somehow. Has anyone seen this, or can share something about their experiences with it? |

Loftus makes a Jumbo card version: https://www.amazon.com/Loftus-Jumbo-Split-Deck/dp/B004PPY0Q6 It's one all the Wiz Kids like to perform, mostly because you can ask a spectator to "cut the cards" and when the cards are shown to be split down the middle, you just give them "that look" and say, "That's NOT what I meant!" It can get a lot of laughs and it's a great mystery when the two halves of the freely chosen card match.
If you decide to get the small version and can afford to get a few, you should get several so that you can use it for walk-around or close-up table-hopping, and each time a different card can be chosen. The Wiz Kids who owned the jumbo deck used to swap decks after each show for that same reason. Madhatter sells the small decks for a bit less, but the real advantage is that if you ask them when ordering several, they will make sure you don't get exact duplicates, if you know what I mean. https://madhattermagicshop.com/magicshop......id=17254 There's also a great joke ending where each person choosing cards gets a DIFFERENT half-card, and yet you claim that the card you previously selected as a prediction card is still correct. When you turn the prediction card around it is made up of each half of the chosen cards, printed on one card.
