Yesterday I saw the kickstarter campaign of a deck marked in seven ways.
It works in Mnemonica stack, the design does not mind but the fact that it uses a code and has no many functions teases me , I leave the link below: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/164......ser_menu Click here to view attached image. |

Looks interesting.
I usually use marked deck with code marking. I prefer because once a spectator saw the mark on the back of a Phoenix Deck. Anyway this marking system seems easy to learn. Thanks for the post fabbmagic, I think I'll back that project |

With the ability to know the following it’s hard not to back this project.
The deck is marked for value and suit. Each back also tells you what the previous card was. If a spectator cuts off a portion of cards, the top card tells you exactly how many cards he is holding. You can tell how many court cards are in the spectator's pile. You can tell how many even and odd cards are in the spectator's pile. You can tell how many red and black cards are in the spectator’s pile. You can also tell the values' addition of the previous cards. Each card reveals its own position in the stack |

This looks amazing and the cards are beautiful. However, am I the only one who thinks despite all these markings that they would be difficult to read in practice without staring closely at the backs of the cards? I'm impressed by the general design, the level of thought that's gone into them, and the additional features that go way beyond most marked decks... but I still wonder how well those features can be used in practices. I'll admit that I'm more used to reader cards anyway, so perhaps I'm just not cut out for non-readers.

Nice and interesting concept.

Although there are plenty of effects and you can structure your routine in such a way that affords you the opportunity to get a long glance at the card. If you do a lot of walk around routines that are quick and in the hands, you'll have to use a different deck. It's not a knock on this deck (which I will buy) just a realistic observation. |

I backed 3 decks, they showed all the 7 marking systems and they are very well done, the kickstarter is 80% funded and I think that they will have no problem to reach the goal. They added Medusa handcrafted stripped decks and it can be a great purchase.

I think they need to add a double backer as well as the double facer ! As mentalists are not going to use a double face card I don't think as much as a double back card.
Just what I think anyhoo Regards Dr Rob |

I backed this, glad I did. There are a lot of possibilities with these decks. So far the nicest decks I have are the Chao Decks, but these are going to be workers.
