It was approximately 13 years ago give or take 3 years and need help remembering a trick and possibly locating the trick itself. I purchased a routine that allowed a spectator to sign a card, you tore a quarter of the card which matched the deck color and had a part of the signature on it. And then you tore apart the remaining quarters (I think) and then either you restored them, or possibly placed the remaining 3/4 of a card in your spectator's hands and after some magic, the back of the restored card was a different colored back. The trick used specially printed backs with 3/4 red or blue and the final 1/4 the contrasting card which was included in the purchase.
I bought this a long time ago and purchasers of it could also access the impromptu version of it of this t&r and color changing trick. I remember it was a Quick Times file that had a password on it. It was a bold trick but one I always intended to learn. After numerous laptop upgrades, I have no idea what happened to it and don't remember the name of the original trick. If anyone can remember the name of the first trick and/or know if the first version is available and if ideally, that second version is available for purchase, then that would be sweet! It was beautiful. Thanks in advance! This is my first post in years. Great to be back. |

Sounds like Color Fusion by Nash Fung. Eric James put out the first version with Quick Time files. I believe it is discontinued and I've since lost the files too. If you happen to find a place selling the gimmick refills let me know. I liked this routine but I also created my own version of T&R using the gaffs before I ran out. You can make the gimmicks but it doesn't look near as good as the factory printed ones.
The original and newer version still have links on Penguin http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S12072 http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S4483
