Are there current real-money value tokens from Russia, India, China that are about the right size for magic? US Quarter sized or larger things? Something like the medal/bitcoin replicas we see around here. Something a traveler might have that's a little nicer than colored mardigras tokens and more current than antique British Crowns and Pennies, or Chinese Phoenix/Dragon lucky coins.
Easy out question: do folks in China use the tokens as card or mahjong markers the way we use poker chips? Okay, okay I know that's not P(R)C.

A Russian 5-Ruble coin is larger than a quarter but smaller than a half dollar; it is closest probably to the new American dollar coins (Pocahantas, presidents).
