"Acrobaticlips" in Ultimate Impromptu Magic Vol 2 is Dan Harlan's creation?

If not, please tell me who creates this trick.

Best Regards,

Thanks for your reply.

Dan Harlan does not explain the effect. Just performed.
So, I think the creator of the effect is a different person.

Which is the reference?
Is there a book named "Magic With A Twist Of Comedy"?

Who is Vietnam Veteran?
A magician?

Please tell me more specifically.

I learned it so long ago I'm not one-hundred percent sure who created it. I think I learned it from a Martin Gardner book. Wish I could give a more detailed reference.

Mrsmith-y,

I served in the U.S. Military for 3 years, served in Vietnam the whole year of 1967. When I got out of the military, I had earned the rank of Sargent, 3 hard strips on my shoulder during those 3 years.

While in Vietnam, the the military camp, that was my base, decided to hold a talent contest, so I had my parents send a foot locker of my magic props to me. I won the contest, over some very good guitar players that sang very well. I was offered to be transferred to the military entertainment section of the army, but turned it down. Mistake or not, I will never know.

The "Magic With A Twist of Comedy" is my tag line for my promotional material describing my act. It is not a book or DVD.

Thanks for asking.

"Clipped" was created by Bill Bowman. Published in The New Phoenix.

Several excellent variations appeared later in The New Phoenix (even some parlor pieces).
