So I have the basic idea of how a short deck could be used to perform tricks. Specifically taking a single card out of a short deck and putting it into a regular size deck. I’m just wondering if there’s any good work on books or DVD or downloadable videos that goes into multiple effects using short cards/short decks?

In my first "Penguin Magic Live Lecture" you find one routine with it, called "Mental Poker"... although only just one (very strong) routine with a short deck, it covers all you should know if you use such a deck... like "ringing" in the deck, how to switch in and to switch out/back a deck... Jan

There is a section of routines in The Encyclopedia of Card Tricks.
There is also with Miracles With A Short Card dvd by Peter Cassford. |

If you're interested in a short and long deck, there are tons of great work on it. Especially by Denis Behr and Juan Tamariz. My favorites.
