Another vote for Daryl, it is the first teaching video I bought.

Davidtan,
CC2 does go into getting breaks, and it also teaches two types of double lifts, pushoff and standard. The pushoff is excellent, but difficult (I haven't been able to figure it out yet). I'm not sure it's worth it for just those two things. However, it does also have a lot of other moves that are not in Daryl, and it's fun to watch. |

I watched the Daryl's Ambitious Card video last week. It is a excellent Ambitious Card routine, highly recommend.
In addition, another good Ambitious Card routine by Dai Vernon is in the book "Stars of Magic." |

I finally join the list of so many Daryl AC DVD owners. I bought a used copy, through the Magic Café forum, and finally looked at it today. I am really looking forward to learning this effect well and trying it out on family and friends.
It's true, Daryl doesn't teach that many moves. I also own Oz's Born to Perform which has helped me considerably with sleights. Just a suggestion.

Another vote for Daryl. It will teach you all the moves you need for a good ACR, plus some.

Another Vote for Daryl's DVD. This is by far the best DVD that's so detailed on the ambitious card routine. Daryl gives you so many moves, sleights, tips, on how to control the card to the top of the deck. ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT, if you've struggled in the past for a good, natural DL, this is the DVD/Tape for you. Daryl actually teaches you 2 ways of doing a DL(his way, and Jerry Lenning's Snap DL (not an easy move, but I mastered it).
Trust me, get this DVD and you won't regret it. There's a lot of moves to choose from, and I've mastered them all. But note, I WOULD NOT recommend this for a beginner. The skill level is I'd say 3 or even 4/4, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get it. Just think about it before you buy it. It's worth even more than it's weight in GOLD!!!!! |

But wait my dvd soon to be released contains even more ideas about the ambitious card . for example I have a routine that does not uses a double lift . a pass or a second deal.. to control the selected card to the top of the pack.
I also Have an operner called ambitious aces , the ambitious card finds the aces one at a time from various parts of the deck. there is also a spin off on color monty called ambitious monty,, all of these ideas are origional .. vinny |

If you're a beginner in card magic and handling go for Crash Course 2:Ultimate Guide To The AmbitiouXs Card.
If you're pretty advanced already, Daryl should definitely be your pick! I must remind everyone that ellusionist videos do not aim to teach a dozen sleights in one dvd. It's aim is to make a performer out of you in the shortest amount of time possible. All its videos include the simplest subtle sleights that are most effective and commonly used to shade suspicious movement. But then again, if you're pretty advanced in cards then you don't need to get those simple stuff right? Daryl teaches sleights that can be incorporated in your ACR.. |

DARYL's!!! Teaches lots of great sleight and variations. Many of the additional moves he teaches can be used in other affects. Although the ultimate ambition gimmick is immposible to make with all the material on that video you don't even need it. It is however being manufactured now. Definatley go with Daryl's Ambitious Card.
