I'm assuming most of these cannot be performed with a borrowed deck?

It can but I think Seer has a major problem:
The gimmick has a high tendency to alter the cards/deck.
Coming from DVS, Seer and Seer Pro I didn’t found a solution to this yet.

Have to add that I like the idea behind it!

You can borrow for pretty much all , except when you give them back they might know something is up. You also need to have a good second deal for one of them. And another requires you to “access” a borrowed deck well before you perform it. Mostly for fun with magician friends , they give you good ideas to tweak for yourself. Good improvement to original Seer performance also.

@Artln: I don't feel there's a problem...if you don't do a 6 tricks routine using the concept and the same deck I imagine it could be a problem.

However, since I love the concept and both DVS and the seer I would have ordered straight away but it's a pre-order product...can't buy it "now"

Thanks for the detailed answer. So I need a pretty good second dealing and some 'time' to set up with a borrowed deck for some effects. Got it.
