All of them are lined with proper and durable cloth/fabric that is heavily and durably stitched to the leather with thread. Foil, I suspect "glue" here. Not sewn in place? I thought you could expect quality craftmanship when the prize tag reads as high as this! And this is the second poster saying something like this! Hmm ?! |

The leather is so thin the outline of the magnet is clearly seen. It just looks cheap to me

That among other quality flaws I luckily found out before I ordered one. The quick reset idea with Post-it Notes was a nice idea, though. |

So.... I opened up a bunch of these that I received from MMS who had this manufactured for me through one of their resources to take a look. Normally , most every product I sell I make myself in my workshop by hand.
To your points, yes, some of them have a feint outline about the size of a nickel that if you know there is a magnet involved, of course you would say, There is where the magnet is." But a spectator would have not a hoot in hell what that dot is, nor would they care. When they are participating in the routine they never even see that part of the pad anyway. If this were made out of real cow leather sure, you might not see the dot, but the price would be triple and PETA would be ****ed. LOL. Pros are using this in their routines, including in some of the top touring shows in the country, so there is that to rejoice in ! Plus I like it, I use it, and I think its supercalifragilisticexpalidocious!!!! |

A BIAS PAD just sold on Penguin Open Box for 70% off. But still no reviews posted on the Penguin site months after the release? Odd...
