Hey everyone! I wanted to introduce myself. I’ve been toying with magic for roughly 11 years now. I hail from the states (Wisconsin). I look forward to being a part of this forum and continuing to learn and share with all of you!

I'm originally from Wisconsin. Miss the magic shops around Milwaukee area and the Houdini Festival in Appleton

I have never been to the Houdini Festival. What happens there?

They even have an elementary school named after him (How cool would it have been to have gone to Houdini Elementary School?). The Houdini Magic Club in Appleton (https://www.houdiniclubofwisconsin.com/) has an annual convention. 81 years now. We always called it the Houdini Festival bacause in Milwaukee they add Festival to everything. I saw Mark Wilson and his wife. They were in for the convention and the night before they performed at a Barnes & Noble in the kids section. It was a wonderful intimate setting and they stayed afterwards and we chatted for over an hour...it was a great experience.
