Going through Magic items purchased about seven years ago and found a heavy Okito Box that will hold FIVE Walking Liberty half dollars. Wondering if it’s one of Roth’s boxes? Maybe a slot box? Any ideas would be welcomed. Thanks!

Wondering if it's holding 5 WL because they are soft. How many Kennedy halves will it hold? Finding out if it's a slot would be easy enough.

No pics. It’s a dark copper color a little taller and wider than a Johnson standard brass box.
I don’t have five Kennedy’s to check depth. I had a slot box at one time and struggled getting the move just right—-so that hasn’t been fruitful. Likin’ the solid oomph of this box! Mystery!

Atom3339, note the shaved edge around the lid of the Shufton box. Does yours have that? Also, the Shufton box is a particularly heavy box, holds five coins. I too purchased mine about seven years ago. I'm positive that that's the box you have.

Ray, You’re absolutely right! It’s a Shufton Box! I’m THRILLED to own one!
Going back to review my routines and modify some handlings. What a great superior Magic product! Thanks for your help everyone!

I believe Mr. Shufton only had those made from brass. The description you gave sounds like the box has a really NICE looking aged patina on it from all those years. Congrats!
