Dear all,
I have been thoroughly searching for some material for a while now. Some of it is declared discontinued by most retailers, some is simply hard to track down. I have been looking for the following items, and I am struck by how hard it has become to find them. I know this thread might fall in the buy/sell category, but it is definetly NOT intended to go that way, but merely to list some of the stuff impossible to find out of the second-hand market and/or to know whether their authors or owners intend to make it available again. I think this is and interesting topic and, hopefully, a call to action for them to provide the cardmagic community with new editions. Here I go with a sample things: 1. Complete Walton 1 & 2 2. Derek DelGaudio's Lecture notes. 3. Darwin Ortiz's Scams and fantasies with playing cards. |

You can add Jawdroppers!(one) and Sonata to that list.

There's no shortage of wonderful books that are out-of-print and hard to find, especially at a reasonable price.
Card Craft is one that comes to mind.

I work in Davenports... and sadly we have no vol. 1 or 2 left of the Walton books.

The guy in charge of books at penguin hinted on the Café thread about the magic rainbow that a sonata reprint is in the works.
Hopefully we'll see something sooner rather than later. |
