Hello all! I am trying to track down an effect that a friend mentioned to me, but wasn’t sure where he saw it, but felt like it was maybe in a Penguin Live lecture it. I am interested in learning more about it and just want to doublecheck that it’s not part of someone’s professional repertoire that was not taught. The effect was described to me as follows: an audience member is asked to choose a type of sandwich (potentially offer the menu) and to verbalize their choice. The performer then reaches inside of a bag and removes the predicted sandwich.
This is the closest thing I could find, though it’s done with the photo, and not a physical sandwich. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/6130 Roddy McGhie LIVE (Penguin LIVE) Does this effect sound familiar to anyone? Thank you in advance! |

It depends on the forcing method for the sandwich . As there are many forces
to achieve this from using a Svenpad to a mirage forcing deck or a half half blank deck etc . Making a menu from Svenpad sounds a decent approach though imo Gaz 🙂 |

Im sure Andy Leviss had an effect like this... Can't remember where he initially published it, but I think it was later included in the Nail Writer Anthology by Baxter.
Hope that helps. All the best, Dan |
