Wonder what people have used, or are currently using and how they like the various Audience Illusions (let's leave head choppers out as that is kind of a different type of trick...)
Owen Magic Bow Saw Wellington Bow Saw Audience Dismember Audience Acupuncture. I personally have the Owen Bow Saw... the pros of it and the welington model - can be performed surrounded, no angles to worry about. The 2 ATA cases are small enough that transportation is not a big issue. Cons - Sits pretty low... you need a high stage or the audience will miss a lot of the action. The props have to be carried out, or set... it's not an illusion that can easily be stored side stage and quickly rolled out (Dismember and Acupuncture can be...) Just some thoughts... would love to hear from others who use or have used these props. |

I have the Owen magic sawing which I like very much.It does play low.It must already be onstage and ready to go or carried out and placed in position since it has no wheels. However it is very mystifying.
It sets up quickly and pack small. This is a very difficult illusion to build properly. I have not seen Wellington's version in person. Don |

I haven't seen the Wellington in person either.... I've heard great things about it.
