Is the item described in Bobo's, where you put a pile of nickles on the table, then a small die on top, cover with a cup and claim to be able to turn the die over using a toothpick...
Is the set of small cups and the gaff being made these days?
...to all the coins I've dropped here

You can get what you need HERE. This is an improved method. The original required two cups, but this only requires one. Note that no dice are supplied (why not, I don't know). You can get the tiny dice online.

In Bobo it's described as a challenge to use a toothpick to turn over the die under the cup. If there's no hole in the cup, what's the claim to turn over the die... or to look away (while you find a toothpick) ? Maybe they sell a second cup so there's something they can look at later?

The cup does have a hole (for the toothpick). The trick is performed exactly as in Bobo. The original needed two cups (although the audience was only aware of one).
This item uses only one cup which can be examined before and after the trick. The reason you now only need one cup lies in the mechanics of the cup itself. The old cup worked like the nickles to dimes. This new "goblet" works like a chop cup. |
