Hi everyone, I know a lot of people hate sybils but I was wondering if anyone had any pointers or any advice on practicing a sybil? How much practice is required ect? Thanks

My advice on practicing a sybil is, simply, keep on practicing. Sybils can be very tough at first, but if you just keep practicing and keep practicing it will eventually come. Other than that, you might try to start with just half of a deck and put rubberbands around the number of packets involved in the sybil. Have fun:)

Concentrate on smoothness. NOT speed first. Speed comes along with practice. Concentrate on orchestrating your movements such that everything is connected. An example of what you shouldn't be doing is this: breaking into z grip is one motion, breaking off the top packet you consider another motion, turning and grabbing a separate motion, and so on so forth. There's no sense of connection to the sybil and that really makes sybils look horrible. Practice them slow and be patient about it. In time you'll be doing sybils subconsciously and the speed will follow along with it.
Hope this helped. Chris

I have found it helps to practice with glued packets until you start to get the hang of the cut.
