Not exactly sure what you are meaning, but there are certainly several culls that do exactly what I think you want, to separate reds from blacks or odd and even cards. Many techniques are centered around angling the cards.
Harry Lorayne has one, Lennart Green published one, etc. Another good source would be Kostya Kimlat. He has work on this. You can search on Conjuring Archive to look up the references. With just the information I gave it will take seconds. In the meantime you will probably see other references. Maybe even in a book you already have. conjuringarchive.com

Those are good culling references from Tortuga.
If you're asking about the general application of secret separations, it's known as the Divided Deck, where the deck is divided into two or more known groupings (red/black, odd/even, "flats"/"rounds"). I'd recommend The Encyclopedia of Card Tricks as a good starting point for solid tricks using this principle. The Divided Deck was especially popular in the first half of the twentieth century, so you'll find lots of applications in places like The Jinx, Greater Magic, Hugard's Magic Monthly, and the like. For a longer list of references, including more contemporary texts, try Denis Behr's Divided Deck category on his archive: www.conjuringarchive.com/list/category/839 Hope that helps! |

Don't forget the Stripper Deck. Trick decks will often fool magicians as long as you don't do the
standard pitch routine. |
