Can someone pm me where I can find the close up pad that looks like an oriental rug. I don’t know if they are the oriental rug mousepads or specially made as a close up pad for magic. Thx

Are you referring to one like Eugene Burger typically used? Maybe ask Jeff McBride if he knew where Eugene got his from.

Amazon has a large choice of Mouse Rugs. They are mouse pads, rubber backing, but look like either Persian or Oriental rugs!

I bought one of them "carpet mousepads" from ebay, but I found them a bit too small for comfortably using as a close up pad. If your'e just using it to place the deck & card selections & stuff I guess it's alright, but for spreads & stuff, I just found the size a bit too small. Alternatively you could probably go to one of those carpet warehouses with the perpetually closing down sales & see if they do a table sized carpet? Probably cost you a much more though for a real Persian style carpet... Ikea perhaps?
