Hello Everyone-
I was wondering if anyone knew of the "best" version for the Signed Bill in Lemon. I would like to perform this trick and was wondering which version I should buy and also where to get it. Also, how difficult is the handling for this trick? Thanks for the help. |

I do bill in lemon as part of my finale when performing. While it is not signed bill in lemon, having the spectator read the serial number on the dollar never gets anything but puzzled looks from the lay people. And I use the first method I ever learned via Mark Wilson.
The only current commercial version that I am aware of is Mesika's Signed Bill in Lemon. However, there is one sleight of hand method that immediately comes to mind where by you could perform a signed bill in lemon, but the movements may seem suspicious. |

Bill Malone has one on his dvd series that's not that difficult. John Carney has one in Carneycopia
called Fruit cup which is also a great routine. |

There is one also from Magic Digest by George B. Anderson.

Supposedly the "best" bill in lemon routine is one that will be out sometime in the next several weeks, appropriately titled "The Final Answer". The gimmick was invented by Scott Alexander, and will be manufactured by Bob Kohler. Included with this will be a DVD teaching the basic routine, as well as Bob's own routine and many other bits of business by other top performers.
Price will not be announced until it is released. There's a thread over in the review forum, several pages in, and also several pages long, where you can find out more information. I'm certainly looking forward to it. Hope this helps, Zach

Steve Spill's Signed Bill in Lemon is a staple of Doc Eason's Act...found on his Bar Magic Vol 2 DvD. Well worth the price.

Personally I use a variation of the Faucet Ross version, it has served me well for many years and can be found in The Magic of Faucet Ross by Lewis Ganson.

Lemon game!
It gives the whole routine reason. Like why the bill is borrowed, marked and why it ends up in the lemon. Also Barrie Richardson has Killer method in his book theatre of mind. |

So what is wrong with Hunter's Vitamin 'C', signed bill in Lemon for only $9? Is the fact it is only $9?

Actually I have several methods and I like the Lemon game very well! However, I must mention that I don't own Whit Hayden's Teleportation Device which I understand is also Excellent. I also just bought Hunter's Vitamin C, just got it out of the mail today as a matter of fact, and got a chance to read it -- Excellent! You might well look into this version!

I have combined a variation of two methods to do what I believe is a killer. A signed bill vanishes. The spectator chooses a lemon out of a bowl full of lemons, and that lemon is cut open to reveal the signed bill. I am working on the finishing touches and will be happy to share when done.
Your choices in life can be compared to watching a magic trick: You can continue to believe the illusion in front of you, find the intrigue and desire to learn more, or quit paying attention the moment you feel deceived.

I own Whit Haydn's Teleportation Device and I think it is fantastic! It is quite a bit more than a bill in lemon effect. It includes 2 bill vanishes, one to a lemon and one to an egg. It has lots of hummor and is very amazing!

Doc Eason does what I think is the best bill in lemon. It is from Steve Spill's presentation of it and is avaiable on Doc Eason Bar Magic Volume 2. Avaiable thru L & L Publishing...
