Hi folks
Looking for the effects based on reverse deal, I am not sure the term reverse deal is right. But the method is the two cards to be forced are on top. They deal the deck and stop. Now the pile is dealt into two piles and thr cards on each pile will be the forced one One good example is Pre.....on by Max Maven Can you throw some light on the best effects on this principle please

I entered "Dealing" and "Prediction". You could try "Reverse" and "Counting", or many other combinations. Swain's use of the concept is particularly interesting.

Yes, as mentioned above It is called "Option Call" and it is in the pages of SYZYGY: The Journal of Contemporary Mentalism.
“SYZYGY," Issue [43] which is Volume [3] Number [6] 1996. It also appears on the video, "Syzygy's Best: Vol. 3" It may appear in lecture notes produced by Paul Green, but of that, I am not sure.

Which routines? I don't know the Swain routine that uses the force, if you're referring to that.
Regarding "more references in many different categories": I can only work with specific lists - the website has an email address for anything like that. |

"Card in the Card Box" in Miracles with Cards does not use that force, if that's what you're referring to.

Yes it is. Funny story, I've been doing Swains trick for 20 years. When I learned it, I immediately substituted the Christ/Balducci for the Reverse Deal and have been doing it like that ever since.
So you are correct here, but definitely take a look at Double Vision, it most definitely uses the deal referred to in the OP. Happy Thanksgiving! (and thanks for getting me to pull Miracles with Cards off my shelf again. Great book. |
