There's a lot of discussion here about "Our Magic," so I'm curious as to how people here feel about this one.

I read it and found it disappointing. I was surprised by that because I think Magic by Misdirection is very strong. I have a copy of The Trick Brain that I started reading, but I set it aside for awhile. I was thinking about picking it up again just yesterday. The question is, "Where did I put it?"

Its only value is in your ability to import it into your current life. Some can... some fail. I used its main directives in training all the original wizards in Caesars Magical Empire.

I loved it.
I learned about Perverse Magic from that book (which has been the basis of my column on the Genii Forum and my book "Gerald Deutsch's Perverse Magic: The First Sixteen Years.") |

Cardini like?
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
