The fine actor and the best Bond ever. Really miss his wittiness in those films.
So many enjoyable films over his long career.

Until Daniel Craig was in the roll the title of "Best Bond Ever" was not really that competitive a title.

He was one of the few actors I would go see a movie based only on the fact that he was in it! If I knew NOTHING else about the movie that was enough. He will be missed.

Shan Connery was the best Janes Bond, but Berry Nelson was the first.
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.

I remember when I was a kid and stood online at the movie theater to see Goldfinger, they wouldn't let me in because I was too young. So I went up to a couple of adult strangers and asked them to adopt me for a few minutes, and that's how I got in to see the movie.

Landmark, you could say that you were able to 'Bond, just Bond' with those strangers that day.

As a kid, I got so use to seeing Connery in James Bond movies, that when the Anderson tapes came out in 1971, I was convinced it must be a James Bond film. It wasn't, but I still enjoyed it.

My first movie was Thunderball, I went with my dad, to a big movie theatre in downtown Buenos Aires, Connery was the coolest man ever, and the underwater battle the most amaizing thing I have seen for decades.

Sean Connery, may he resht in peesh, was good in The Hill.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I enjoyed Highlander simply because he was in it. The League of Extraordinary Gentleman was watchable mainly because of him.

He was wonderful in Finding Forrester, as well as one of the many stars in The Longest Day.

I loved him in Costner's "Robin Hood." When he rode up as Richard the Lion Heart and uncovered his face, the whole audience stood up and cheered. Just in time to save Robin Hood, but too late to save the movie.

Not a fan of Costner.

He's been in some great films:
Dances with Wolves, Untouchables, Field of Dreams, JFK, Waterworld (just kidding)… in none of those did I feel he contributed to making the movie better.

In a movie like Robin Hood, I think he actually made the movie worse. Didn't hate it, but would have like it a lot more had they got someone else in the role.
