Nice reference magicfish,
I pulled Kort right off the shelf and looked it up. I will work on this one. Thanks. |

Just to be clear, is this "The Magic of Milt Kort" by Steven Minsch or is there another Kort book that he himself did?

I was just thinking that 1-coin routines are very hard to pull off. Most people figure that if it isn't in the hand they thought, gee, must be the other hand and they are right a lot of the time. Watch their faces. Tricks with even 1 extra "odd" or Chinese coin or whatever, give you many more options and safeties such as being to pick up the odd coin to wave over the hand...like a wand or magical thing or talisman or such, but really giving the palming hand something to do. If you then make the vanished coin reappear in a left pocket...and really bring out a dupe coin, now you have 3 coins, they think you have 2, and now your options grow. Just trying to help.

A magician did an act at a bar for several guys. One man said "that's traffic. wait here. let me get my kid. He's never seen a half dollar".
