Does anyone know the difference between the Baffling Ball Briefcase Miniature being sold my some magic dealers for $79.00 and the Baffling Ball Briefcase Miniature being sold by other magic dealers for $18.00? Both briefcases being sold by magic dealers appear to be identical. So, why the difference in cost?

Since this is the site where I post technical problems, I suppose I can ask a question. I am still navigating through the website trying to learn how to use it. I find the website to not be very user friendly to someone like me who is not very computer savvy. Nevertheless, when I go to the member’s list searching for my name, sometimes I receive a message that reads, You cannot browse this page at “themagiccafe” because it is restricted. More specifically page 2240. I was told the problem was on my end. However, I was also told the message means there is something on that page that my computer finds to be “bad.” There is something on that page that may be a virus and could infect my computer. So, my computer does not allow me to open the page. Can you offer any explanations?

While I have your attention, please. When I search for a topic that I specify, of the posts that pop up, none of the posts has anything at all to do with the topic I am searching. Why?

Wonder why the tech person does not respond to the two problems I posted?

This means all the stock was purchased years ago. The product is no longer available. I purchased the small briefcase at a local store many years ago. Some magicians, I would imagine did as well, and gimmicked the case to produce large objects. Today, magic is more like regular consumer products, they get a supply in and sell them off. The manufacturer never does a new production of the item. The difference is price was most likely because there was copy that came to market, not as good as the original version. After watching some of the videos, I could see the original was gaffed a with a lot of additions. That of course cost a lot more to produce. So this would only be available on the second hand market, but beware, make sure it is the original version, and not the copy. I attended a magic lecture once, a famous magician showed his idea of producing a ball from the small briefcase. It was slight of hand only, really fooled a lot of magicians at the time. Most likely the beginning of the gaffed version, someone picked up on. |
