We're going through the house cleaning out and organizing our "stuff" and I rediscovered this. I built it 30+ years ago using the plans from Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic as shown on pages 382-385. My wife did the artwork on the front. I'm still amazed at how invisible the black art well is.

I like it . I also like the idea of using a small movable pad or something to that effect over the well. That way you can invite spectators up close. When you need to use it you can just move the pad... and use the well. YOu could just as easily cover it up with a pad or whatever in a second when you are done ....
