What are the performing angles?
Eg could I take a step back and perform for a round table, and use the Melero displays without fear of exposure? |

...the other consideration for me being whether that display is any good for spectators looking up from a seated position...

Let’s talk about the video for a minute. I have done a deep dive into learning the routines, and the video has some problems. I’m not complaining so much as sharing so others will notice and maybe save some time.
The basic training video is fine, then he goes into an advanced routine video training with 12 phases, which is designed for parlor, and is also fine. Then he does a close up routine with nine phases (which is a great routine). If you notice, this routine leaves out most of the more challenging angle displays. It would be ideal for a crowded situation. But the video training repeats the exact video from the advanced training routine, with all 12 phases and ads a 13th, showing the in hands link. I wish they would re-edit the video with phases to match the close up performance. Many have commented about the angle issues, but the actual close up routine he performs doesn’t have angle problems. Everything that you need to learn is in the video, but about 25 min of the video is an exact repeat, and with no words, and that music. My gosh, I’m being driven crazy! Anyway, I love the rings, and love the new feature, and I think the price point is amazing, so forgive my critiques… |

I received a set of these from Penguin. The single regular ring is slightly warped (doesn't lie flat on a flat surface). The weld areas on the other two rings are well below the weld quality on the warped ring. I can't believe these made it past quality control.
I've reached out to Penguin to ask how they want to handle this but I haven't heard back. If the next set is of similar "quality", I'd rather have a refund. I'm wondering if I received a previously returned set. The outer box was beat to heck with a couple of smashed and torn corners. The tears had been repaired with Scotch tape. So, clearly, the damage was there before shipment. Mark
Doing tricks can be easy, being an entertainer is much harder.
