I'm so glad David and Wayne like the simple, uncomplicated routines in the Gravity Reel project. I know well-done IT routines where objects levitate can fry people, but in essence, if you ask them how they think the trick was done they'll answer with IT. In my humble opinion, the best IT effects are those that still leave the spectator with no reasonable explanation for how the trick was accomplished, like the tipping bottle or moving pencil effects in the Gravity Reel project. Simple effects can still be the most powerful.
Joao Miranda keeps delivering top-tier magic that is pricey, but seemingly worth every single cent. More within my budget and performing style is David Penn's new Pi Revelations. I think I need to open the wallet for this one.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
