Well, I thought of someting on my own, but I'm guessing it's a thing already. Your hands are both empty because the coin is in the crook of your elbow, then drop your hand all the way down to your side with your palm facing away from the audience and the coin will drop into your hand.

Michael, is that the Speed Vanish? I saw a demo video of that on Penguin, but that's interesting, I'll have to check that out, I thought of it as a production to incorporate into part of something, not a vanish, but I only do basic coin stuff. It's a bit risky though, a little too easy to drop, for me anyway.

"Sleight of hand should never mean, "Hey look at my hands."
Instead, try for "never happened" with no memory of what your hands were doing at all. In my recently released "Eminent Coin Production" four coins are produced individually in a sequence, each by a slightly different handling. The audience will remember seeing the producing hand empty prior to, and during the "Full On" production of each coin. and both hands repeatedly shown to hold only the number of coins known to exist at that moment with no trips to the body or unnatural moves in between. No knuckle busters or gimmicks - just a blending of psychological ploys and sleights that serve as acquitment for each other. What the human eye perceives is not based on visual impressions alone, and what the mind remembers can be influenced further. Yet, this is best used as an introduction of four coins to be used in your favorite coins-across routine. That is, treated as a natural event without comment or expecting applause. So, I am suggesting that the more you focus on "skill demonstration," or draw attention to your hands, the more you ask the observer to watch your hands instead of the coin/object, The stated desire of "both sides of hands empty" is an artificial expectation created by the performer and not by any natural mental process of the observer. They will not be suspicious unless you give them reason to be, or seek causation unless you pose a puzzle or challenge to their senses. Here, I want the audience to remember that I produced four coins from "thin air" to be used in an incredible magic effect of the coins transporting to a drinking glass. If they us the words "empty hands" in the story told after I failed in some way. Of course my hands were empty - that is what "from thin air" means. You never would say, "This is a completely ordinary drinking glass." Why say, "See, my hands are empty?" Just do it - natural and without acting as if you have something to hide. Don't run if not chased, and never say to a thief, "Honest, I don't have a gun hidden anywhere." ......... having said that (opinions), I realize/accept that a magician trying to make a living will encounter repeat audiences and a cry of "entertain me" over any desire to experience magic. So, the selection of "best method" may be secondary to having a variety of methods available to achieve the same result. A second viewing of a coin effect in hand will always allow the observer to look elsewhere that what you desire,' and remember what they "looked for" rather than experienced the first time.
"the more one pretends at magic, the more awe and wonder will be found in real life." Arnold Furst
