The irony is that this collaboration led to Michael screwing Paul out of owning his own songs. We are all g.. d... doomed! I laugh when I hear people talking about colonizing mars. If we can't live in peace on this resource rich planet... Mars is going to be a hellish dictatorship with its very limited resources.

Ah...Stevie Wonder's collaboration with Paul led to Michael Jackson's purchase of the Beatles' catalog? I can't do the math on this one.

I am having trouble finding any reference to the Michael Jackson claim. I'm not saying it didn't happen, just that I can't find it.

According to Paul, it was while they were shooting the video for "Say, Say, Say." Paul told Michael the best investment was song rights. He'd just bought out the Buddy Holly catalog. Michael looked at him and said; "I know... I'll buy YOURS." Paul thought he was joking. But no, when the rights to the Beatles songs came up, Michael outbid him and got his own songs right out from under him!
It pretty much ended the partnership... and the friendship. Michael later said that Paul understood that it was business and nothing personal, which led me to think of Billy Chrystal's line from "Analyze This!" "Don't kid yourself. It doesn't get more personal than this!"

You're leaving out a key element.
The bids were sealed. There is no telling how many outbid Paul. Aside from which we have not figured out how exactly a collaboration with Stevie Wonder led to Michael Jackson buying the Beatles collection 3 years after this collaboration.

The dangers of posting late at night (2am) after a day filled with negative news. Yes, I was wrong on all accounts.
