What are the "electric deck" and the "haunted deck"?

The lectric deck allows you to do perfect waterfalls and spread catches. The haunted deck is a deck that cuts itself and finds a chosen card.

Exactly, the haunted deck is the absolute coolest. I havent personly ever heard of the lectric deck sounds cool though.
i dont call 911, i simpily perform the bullet catch and than point the bullet at them and ask if they care to try.

The electric is way old-school. I have a book reprinted from the 30's that shows how to make one. Most magicians won't touch these unless for a gag. It's along the lines of instant-fanning decks (which I love too!).

I believe (but I may be wrong) that Bill Gusias made one of the first electric decks when he was just a boy.

Electric decks are advertised to make "anyone" look like a master card sharp; that is, "cheating" at flourishes. I have handled one myself, and I can honestly say they're kind of hard to use! I'm used to regular decks and the electric deck is really not worth spending money on, unless you want to have some pictures of yourself executing card moves that seem to defy the laws of physics.

If you want to you can make an improvised Electric Deck with a dozen of staple wires.

Wow. Why would anyone make one of these when there are so many great animated deck methods out there?

Why not just learn how to master a real deck?

The electric deck is 100% cheap laughs. I use it to remind my audience that nothing in magic is ever quite as it appears (suddenly stopping the waterfalls and allowing the deck to hang) it's also nice to follow up the E.D. with the 'card-to-silk' trick.

The classic gag is:
Niagra Falls from the American side! (cascade) Niagra falls from the Canadian side! (turn; cascade) Niagra falls in the Winter! (partial cascade and hang) Steve

Both deck has different application so you need to buy both if you want to perform. Necessary or not it is up to you.
