Hi everyone. I'm putting on a quick performance at our office's Christmas event. To keep with the work theme, it would be great to have some powerpoint/excel based magic. One of my thoughts was to use this http://makeanddo4d.com/spreadsheet/ to create a picture of a card in excel. At first it looks like a usual excel table full of random numbers, but zoom out and it acts as the reveal for a card trick. Does anyone know of any other uses powerpoint/excel etc. could be put to use in magic? Thanks in advance.

That excel spreadsheet idea sounds really interesting:) For a card trick that requires a volunteer to make decisions or follow a series of instructions perhaps those instructions can be displayed over PowerPoint rather than you saying anything? Or using PowerPoint you can display a few objects or places or things that relate to your work and use some type of magicians force to show that you knew which object or thing your volunteer would select?

You could use a photograph of the card/object as a reveal on the PowerPoint as well.
