I work for TGI Fridays and I have to dress up for the 4th July (independence theme?) and I don't know what to go as. I have to spend all night in this costume but any ideas will be really appreciated

Dizzy,
I'm confused, (there's a state). You're from Cheltenham - isn't that in the UK? or is there a town in the US called that? I only ask because if it is in England, why in the world would the British want to celebrate the 4th of July? If you indeed must go as a state in the US - could you perhaps dress up as an icon from the state? (ie: the Statue of Liberty representing NY?) That may be a bad example though. Mike |

Hahaha! "Yay! Happy 4th of July! The day that the colonies kicked the treacle out of us! Hooray for colonial ass-whoopings!"

You could always dress up in a state of confusion, perhaps?
Good Luck Dizzy as I'm not sure what to suggest. |

I work for TGI Fridays (AN AMERICAN RESTAURANT). I was thinking about (please excuse my ignorance of not knowing which state it is in) a Vegas theme. Maybe a Vegas showgirl or something similar. However I like the state of confusion one, it definitely suits me.

Why don't you wear a flag as part of a dress or some type of clothing? Good luck!

Hi Again Dizzy,
Vegas is in the state of Nevada. You have a good idea with the show girl theme or: what would fit with your character is that of a magician from Vegas. Another thought that came to mind if you are having trouble with a costume is to wear a red or blue shirt/pants with white blouse and perhaps a bandana with the stars and stripes. You could also think about chosing New York State which will give you lots of options for costumes. Good Luck Dizzy. :O) |

Wear a nice outfit that the opposite gender would find attractive (very careful choice of words there since I do not want to offend anyone) and wear a name badge that reads "Sippi".
Then go as Mississippi. |
