Can someone recommend a type of paper to use with
a particularly wet marker? it bleeds through my current paper. |

Try Strathmore Smooth Bristol paper (or similar smooth toothed bristol paper). The cheaper 200/300 series should be plenty good enough. This paper is used by comic book inkers. You don't need to buy the more expensive series (400, 500).

Sharpie makes a few bleed proof markers that are relatively inexpensive and worth trying: Flip Chart Markers https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-22480PP-M......2762NPU/ Fine Pen Point Type https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-Permanent......PV0H9SU/ |

Upon retiring from police work a few years ago I got into drawing (link below!.. )
I haven't (nor really specifically looked for such a quality, but I use premium in my artwork) found paper that a cheap marker won't bleed through, but I use these in my pen & ink work: https://www.amazon.com/Sakura-Pigma-5003......0K3KRJI8 and they don't bleed through ANYTHING, cheap paper included. The point is you shouldn't buy dollar store markers.

Another option is switch to using a pencil. Often times people suspect a pen being electronic.
