I just bought a silk caddy, the regular one with 2 hinges doors and a load chamber that rises.
It is used in very good condition. The question: Inside the load chamber there is like a piece of cloth or piece of ribbon that is attach to the wood. This attached cloth is more or less on the middle of the chamber. What is the reason for that (eg the silk will not get to bury in the chamber)? DO you use it for anything else? Thank you ... Pablo |

Think of a dye tube; useful in a color change/switching situation.

The strip is to prevent a silk from coming out the other side of the cabby when changing one silk for another. Also, if vanishing a couple silks, it will prevent the silks from popping out the opposite side.
