Just a quick note, I was watching the video and a friend who is NOT a magician watched it over my shoulder. He said "I know how he did that, it looks like one of those cards is two card stuck together and he is sliding them in". I don't know the trick but that seemed farily close, I then showed him the classic four card/four coin matrix and he was baffled. Stick to slight of hand versions.

Where can I find a good coin matrix trick involving sleight of hand? I'm a beginner so I don't want to try and tackle anything too difficult but I am willing to spend time practicing. I just got Impossible Matrix and don't much care for the the way this trick looks with sliding the card into the coins.

Mugician...for a good beginner matrix check out Mark Wilson's Encyclopedia of magic tricks....it has a lot of beginner stuff that even some pros still use...also try Mike Ammar's East to Master Coin Miracles Volume 1. Both have matrix routines in them ands it always good to know at least two versions if you happen to perform for the same people

I am also new to magic. I learned a simple coin assembly from Mark Wilsons Complete Course in Magic book which uses a handkerchief and 2 3x5 cards. It is easy and fun.
I picked up an excellent 4 coin 4 card Martix from Dean Dills IMS Video "Fascinating Coin Magic." I believe he teaches it on his "Coins 2000" as well. He calls it the "Simple Matrix", His moves are a little different than the traditional matrix. Very good Matrix.
Magic is fun!!!

I love this trick. When people want to see the cards I say "wait I can do it without them then I put them into the card case with 2 doubles on top I put the ones I used on bottom." Then I do a 4 across in the hands effect. If after that they still want to see the cards Ive done something wrong, but I can pull the real ones off the top and hand them out. As for the "move" standing out it won't if you do the same thing with both hands.

I just ordered this trick and am waiting for it in the mail. I don't really need it because I already have nine matrix effects that I perform regularly, but I thought it would be a fun gimmic to play with. And for the cost, how can you not pick one up?
