Hello everyone,
It's a False riffle shuffle found on the DVD "Nothing But The Best, Volume 3" - Darwin Ortiz - routine : "The Ultimate Card Shark" Darwin Ortiz said that it's a Marlo's False riffle shuffle, but he doesn't specify its name. It is a very clever false shuffle. Can someone tell me what its name is? Maybe it is Marlo's "Patented False Shuffle" discribed in his Book : "the Patented Shuffle"? Thank you in advance for your feedback. |

Maybe this shuffle could be :
( https://www.conjuringarchive.com/list/bo......66,15967 ) - Edward Marlo, Delayed Strip Out Shuffle (Riffle Shuffle Systems book) - Edward Marlo, Block Strip Out with Triple Cut (Riffle Shuffle Systems book) Because the shuffle discribed by Mr Ortiz is a"false Strip Out Shuffle" with the stripping out action delayed after the riffle ( and it ends up with a false triple cut). In essence, this full deck false shuffle looks like this: - a riffle - a simple cut - and a triple cut (the stripping out action is hidden in the first cut of the triple cut) If you have seen this DVD, thank you in advance for giving me the correct name of this technique described by Mr Ortiz. |

Until you find the answer you're looking for, you may be highly interested in the "Aronson Stripout" (Simon Aronson, Simply Simon) or Aronson Stripout 2.0 (Art Decko). If it's good enough for Steve Forte, it's good enough for me. I highly prefer the original, but 2.0 is designed to immitate what you'd see on a proper gaming table.

"Aronson Stripout" is it based on a strip-out shuffle or a push through shuffle? ( the main difference is : in stip-out shuffles the original left half is stripped out at the left side while in a push through shuffle it is stripped out at the right side).
My preference goes very clearly to strip-out shuffles... |

Ok thanks . it's a false table riffle shuffle that I'll possibly study later
There is no video discription or just a video demonstration of this move? |

For information :
Mr. Ortiz answered me. My guess is good. The shuffle is indeed : Block Strip-out and Triple Cut (Riffle Shuffle Systems) What a great False table Riffle Shuffle! I started reading the description of "Aronson Stripout" in the book Simply Simon. I'm not sure I'll find this one better than Marlo's. |
