I like connecting my routines in the style of the 6 degrees of separation game, even if I don't draw attention to the fact in routines. I found this description linking the Luna book tests to Houdini.
"Last evening Houdini was again challenged, this time by Mr Arthur Fisher, late attende t of Colney Hatch, and also by Mr WT. Allen, a lunatic attendant, living at 30 North Street. These gentlemen had procured a straightjacket, which had been used for the murderous insane by the insane asylum authorities. Might be a bit too extreme a change for routining a straight jacket to mentalism but thought it was an interesting link.
