Which second deal's method(s) do you use and why?
I use the Double Push Off because I find it more natural (I always deal cards taking them in the middle, not on the top).

I'm learning the pushoff, but for the moment my strike second is much better, so when I need to do a second, it will be a strike. But in the future, I want to do pushoffs, because they look fairer and more beautiful.

I use both methods. Others I like to vary my methods, but I do agree with Tielie that the pushoff looks more beautiful. I am also a fan of Ed Marlo's No Touch Second theory which is also very nice.

I use the pushoff with some of Richard Turner's nuances.

I use a strike when I am dealing with two hands and a push off when I deal seconds with one hand. I hope this helps.

Along the lines of what kukram said:
If dealing mutliple seconds: Use a strike. If dealing one second: Use a push-off |

When I first learnt the DL I learnt the Push Off because it looked more natural to me... It took a while to master the grip etc, but was well worth it.

I think that either can be made to look very natural, if worked at.

I can't do the push of as well as my strike. However, if I want to do strike seconds, I have deal them at a faster pace (to make more natural the quick strike motion of thumbs), and I can only deal push off seconds at a slow pace.

DP, fast or slow, all the time. I couldn't do a "Strike" if my life depended on it.
Cheers!

I use the strike because I find it easier to do, especially if I am nervous, because I tend to mess up the double push off
