Can anyone make any suggestions on where to find a good source for the bouncing bubble effect. Someone suggested Vito Lupo, but I'm unfamiliar with his work.
Any help would be appreciated! |

I have a book called Tom Noddy's Bubble Magic. It briefly describes how to bounces a bubble on your arm. The material of your shirt cloth is apparently vital. This is a good book if you're interested in bubble magic.

I can attest to Vito's Bubble Juice. If you PM me, I will give you information on where to find it.

Mephisto in Belgium supplies the solution as used by Mask, along with a special glove of the right material to be able to handle the bubbles, and some other gimmicks that allow you to produce a necklace or a rose from the burst bubbles.

Most major discount chain stores (like Walmart) carry a product in the toy section (whose name escapes me right now; sorry, a "senior's moment"!).
But it is clearly advertised as something like "hard" bubbles. It is a bubble-blowing mixture that makes the bubbles hard enough to be touched and held (and, I presume, bounced on the arm) without breaking. And yet, after several seconds, the bubble will still pop. As I said, unfortunately I can't remember the name but, at the time, I had little interest in it. However, at least you now know that such a product exists! cheers, Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |

I just purchased a product today called, Liqualoons...interesting, but highly impractical. I would still suggest using Vito Lupo's bubble juice.

I just saw the stuff at Toys-R-Us. It's called "Catch A Bubble".
What is the color of magic?

Kris,
Thanks for the mention of Noddy's book. I just checked it out from the library. It looks very interesting. What a great board. Harris.
