Hi Joe!
Welcome to the Kitchen. Dishes are in the sink. Table 7 needs clearing! The floor needs to be mopped. Ichazod forgot to take the garbage out. Just make yourself at home. Mya

Sorry Steve, you are too late to announce this. Joe was already a member of the staff, but I think you did not know about it.

Good show! Joe! Congratulations on joining the Café’ team. While I am not entirely clear what a “Grammar Host” does I suspect that it means that you will be forced to read my boringly long posts and attempt to correct my butchering of the language! Well! At least I know that one person is reading me!
I am glad that you are stepping up to the task. I can’t think of anyone better qualified for the job, have fun!

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome and warm wishes. I would have stopped by here sooner but there was just so much to do!
Mya, the dishes are done, but more keep coming in! And table 7 is cleaned but I can't find the salt shakers that once were there... wait, let me check my other hand... yup, found them. And I have a question about the medical plan. . . oh yeah, Lee told me, 'don't get sick'. It was a real honor when Steve asked me to become a Grammar Host here in the Magic Cafe. Steve, Mya and the rest of the Staff have done a terrific job here in creating the best magic site on the net. I will do my best to help out where I'm needed. It really is a joy to know and serve all of you who call this place 'your' Cafe. And Vic is right, if any of you would like a membership application to the Academy, I would love to send you one. Hi,
I'm sure I will be the one that needs the grammer help the most. I don't post that often, but when I do, Help! Welcome aboard. |

Cool, now that Joe is here, I don't have to clean out the traps in the sink.
But I still get whatever he pulls out, right Hooray for Joe |

Since Mumblepeas asked, Grammar Hosts are genial busboys here at The Magic Cafe (no offense meant to our female grammar staff), quietly helping to make things more readable, when necessary. You know, cleaning tables, capitalizing and punctuating where necessary behind the scenes. Like good restaurant staff, you may not be consciously aware that they're working, but you could definitely tell if they weren't.
Okay, not a great analogy. However, I appreciate the folks who volunteer here. That goes for the many who contribute and post who don't have Cafe job descriptions. I have learned a great deal from the discussions here (especially since I've been moderating the "Special Interests"). Magic really is a house with many rooms! I'll stop there...
