To be quite honest, the effect sounds stupid and just plain sadistic to me.
I definately wouldn't want to witness someone accidentally shoot themself in the face. Just my opinion. |

I have it and have never presented it for a paying audience.....It would work well as a segue into something else, but not entertaining enough as a stand alone.
I can trade it to you for something else along with 4 packs of the necessary pyro items? You get a gimmicked matchbook, two rounds (bullets) and four packs of the pyro catalysts. Initially I wanted to use this to segue into my bill to lemon routine and use the bullet catch as an analogy for the bill to lemon routine.... My b.t.l. routine is already long enough without adding the bullet catch to it in my opinion and thus never used it.... |

Yeah, but you had it in your mouth, why would I want it? but thanks. so,you don't like or not enough to keep it? I think if presented in the right way, it could stand alone, but hey, what do I know.

No sir! I never put the rounds in my mouth.
I only played with the gimmick. I am indiferrent about the routine. I could care less if it remains in my storage area. If you have some junk in your drawer to trade for it, then what's the big deal? It's only 22 dollars mate~not the largest sum of money for you in my estimation Mr. Deep Pockets (tongue firmly in cheek) Take it easy my man! I love the emotion in your avatar~Good choice~r2 |

Paul Zenon (a UK TV magician)
presented Catch 22 well as a stand alone piece. I alo have it but don't present it. One thing that Paul Zenon used was a (bang!)lighter rather than a match book which I thought was better. ITs not a very difficult trick to work out yourself? ReyRey Puentes has told you what you need to obtain and the routine is simply a switch? |

Magicswan, I have this effect and I have had great luck with it. The main thing is, as with all magic, the routine.
I use audience members to help and it is very funny the way I present it. I don't think it would work good as a serious routine. Oh Jason, with this version there is no way to shoot yourself, or anyone else for that matter. No gun, no powder in bullet. Magicswan, if you want a funny "danger" type effect this is a good one. Se, I also thought a lighter would be better. plus I have bang gimmicks all over (working at hollywood magic, we would elf someone by loading the bang device in thier locker or on the toilet seat) so, huh, I think I get it.
