1. Yes
2. No fee to become a seller untill you put up an item. There is a fee for listing and a % fee when/if it sells. 3. Check, MO, or Credit Card and eCheck thru Pay pal. 4. See 3. Please go to eBay and read their stuff...it is in depth and well written to help you. Otherwise this thread could be forever. Doug

You cover your Ebay charges by putting your P&P charges up.
they might charge you for extra pictures, bold or highlighted listings ect. and the auction house always takes a percentage of the sellers final price. This is the same in all auction houses, real or virtual. here is an item I sold and the breakdown. Total Amount: £185.49 GBP Fee Amount: -£6.51 GBP Net Amount: £178.98 GBP as you can see. I had a fee of £6.51 on £185.49 the P&P was £4.50 (really paid £2.70) but should have put £8 on P&P to cover it.

P&P = Postage and packaging.
It is an additional charge independent of the final auction value. You could auction a box of matches for 00.01 and include Postage and packaging charges of 40.00. The winner would have to pay 40.01 for a box of matches. That is a poor example but illustrates how you make back your auction fees. If you spent $$ on putting extra piccys and bold ect. then you have to pay for it if unsold. the relist of the item is free (i think. corrections welcome) If you have something that you know will get you say 18% profit or more then the ebay charges are nothing.
